“Empowering individuals to live their best lives and experience truly rewarding relationships based on authentic connection.”
After graduating from college, I went into business and eventually got an MBA. While this was financially rewarding, for me, it was not emotionally fulfilling. After a number of life changes, I decided to pursue a career that called to me on a very deep level – becoming a therapist focused on empowering individuals to live their best lives and experience truly rewarding relationships based on authentic connection. I have a masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I’m a certified Gestalt Therapist and CTI trained Life Coach. I’ve also completed level 1 and 2 of IFS training and have assisted in training other IFS therapists.
It is essential to keep in mind that therapy is not a magic pill or a quick fix – it is a healing process that necessitates participation and investment from both the client and the therapist. We are all unique, and no single form of therapy is right for every individual, couple or issue. Consequently, I employ different modalities based on your needs and input, along with the clinical data supporting the effectiveness of each therapeutic approach.
Regardless of the therapy chosen, however, you, as a client, should feel heard, understood, and validated. Furthermore, the growth you experience from therapy should translate into concrete changes that measurably improve your life. After all, the point of therapy is not just to gain greater self-awareness but to experience greater personal fulfillment and more satisfying relationships. In the end, new insights combined with new behaviors and new ways to connect with your partner can bring life-altering results.
